Although it has flown under the radar in a week when one NFL player was fined $75,000 and two others got $50,000 penalties, Vikings defensive end Ray Edwards has an awfully hefty fine to pay himself this week.
Tom Pelissero of 1500ESPN.com reported that the NFL fined Edwards $20,000 for spearing Cowboys running back Marion Barber during Sunday’s game.
Edwards has now been fined $32,500 this season.
“Which is a lot of (expletive) money,” Edwards said.
